NEFSC May Cruise 2013 – FOG

Like a bad penny that keeps coming back, fog is a frequent companion to cruises in New England.  We’ve got a complete white-out today, often with less then 50 m of visibility.  On foggy days, visual surveys for whales move from the top deck/fly bridge into the wheel house.
